We caught up with one of our good skater friends of G-Steez six questions about his experience to see President Obama speak during his summer break.
G-Steez: Why did you go to see the President speak?
Mohammed: I went to go see the president speak because I was interested on what his plans were if he got reelected.
G: How did you feel when you got there and after his speech?
M: When I got there I felt pretty excited knowing the president was coming and after his speech he made me realize that Obama is the way to go.
G: Why do you feel it’s important to know what’s going on in politics?
M: I feel that it is because I live here, you live here, anything can happen if the worng candidate gets elected. He could put out more taxes without you knowing, thats why i feel that going into politics is important, you have the chance to vote for a person thats bringing you good or not vote and the other guy gets elected and you end up losing your job.
G: What did you get out of it?
What I got out of it is that Obama is trying to fix our education system, stop teachers from losing their jobs. Learning is important for everyone especially for our younger gerneration. Romney thinks that we’re wasting money on teachers.
M: Are you registered to vote?
M: I will be registered to vote by the time november hits.
G: Will you be voting in this upcoming election?
M: Yes
